Mother Nature looks to be ornery for this Weekly Menu 05.13.19.
Weekly Menu 05.13.19 tries to accommodate the warm – cold – warm – rainy – hot weather pattern we’re anticipating here in Erieland this week. And while I’m sure the weather will be unreal soon, it’s not here yet. How’s the weather where you live?
Speaking of unbelievably gorgeous, how about this picture of Moraine Lake Lodge? It’s a spot in Alberta, Canada in the Banff National Park. I’d never heard of it before I saw this picture, but now I want to go. Seriously. The Lodge doesn’t open until June 1st so we’ve got some time to plan. I’m even thinking kayaking sounds like a good idea. Road trip!

We start out the week with a menu that will make anyone happy – our Mother’s Day Menu is perfect for any caretakers on your list, whether they’re a female or a male. I’m really hoping someone around our house takes the hint.
Busy Monday pulls the crock pot into use – with an easy meal that will keep until everyone gets to it. Because the noodles are great warm, cold or at room temperature, I just leave a covered bowlful on the counter.
Taco Tuesday is going “flautas” this week.
They’re kind of like fried, rolled tacos. The recipe looks great so we’re giving it a shot. Fingers crossed!
Our trusty slow cooker is back in use on Wednesday. More on the fabulous Asian pork tenderloin soon.
