Pizza Nachos Are Perfect Mash-up
Pizza nachos marry Mexican and Italian for an awesome, easy mash up perfect for an appetizer or a light dinner.
This recipe is perfect for when you need some good food in a hurry. It’s just a little step up from serving a bag of chips and salsa! Pizza Nachos are different too, which makes them fun. It makes a filling appetizer or a great light dinner. It also makes for a perfect ending to a good night out – it goes great with beer.
I’d serve pop to the kiddies though.
The longest part of this recipe is waiting for the oven to warm up. So get that going first, then combine the sauce ingredients in a little sauce pan (perfectly named!) so they can simmer for a few minutes.
Put the corn chips on an ovenproof serving plate like this Armetale platter (affiliate link). We got the platter I use in this post for our wedding – and I use it ALL. THE. TIME. It sits behind the faucet on our sink and I grab it whenever I need a platter in the kitchen. Plus it doesn’t break when I slam it into something inadvertently. Check out this Armetale Grillware Pizza Serving Tray (affiliate link.) I think I’m in love. That’s going on the Christmas list for sure.
A baking sheet or even a low sided casserole dish would work great too.
Add the cheese, the toppings and drizzle some of the sauce on top.
And again.
Oven Ready!
We are layering the chips and topping to avoid naked chips.
THE HORROR! No Naked Chips!
