WEEKLY MENU 04.19.20
It’s time to plan another week’s worth of dinners! Check out our Weekly Menu 04.19.20 for all the deets! Need a mask to go to the grocery store? Check out below!
In order to help with social distancing, our governor (Governor Wolf, Pennsylvania) has mandated that all of us need to wear masks whenever we go to any businesses. Of course, proper masks are very hard to come by, and ordering them in could take some time. (Affiliate links follow – see disclaimer page for details.) Some very creative people have come up with ideas to make masks with no sewing required – which is perfect for me! I am not very creative.
If you are any good with scissors, and you have a t-shirt you don’t mind sacrificing, try this one:
Even easier than that, how about a bandana mask?
You could always wear one outlaw style, but this is almost as simple.
Hopefully this will pass sooner rather than later. It’s tough to smile at someone wearing one of these~
Back to the Weekly Menu 04.19.20~
We’re starting out the week with a proper Sunday dinner – roast and all. I love pork because it’s a taste magnet – you can honestly change it up any which way. Plus, it’s cheap!
On Tuesday, we’re using boxed burgers from the freezer and jazzing them up Breakfast Style. We’ll add bacon and a fried egg. Probably a “Special Secret Sauce” too – that’ll be a combo of ketchup and mayo with a couple dashes of Tabasco. But keep it quiet. It’s a secret.
We’re making an oldie but a goodie this week – Navy Bean Soup. We have a ham bone left from Easter, and dried beans in the pantry. Yippee! Cost effective and easy.
