Memorial Day 2018 Menu

It’s finally time to kick off summer with a Memorial Day picnic! It’s still not crazy warm around here, but the salads outlined on this menu will make it seem like the season has begun, even if we have to eat inside.

This menu easily allows for activities earlier in the day, whatever  that might be. The salads and triffle are best made in the morning so they have time to rest in the refrigerator.

When it’s time for dinner, pop open a bottle of Rose Wine and pour some over a lowball glass full of ice, adding a splash of seltzer to top. A few blueberries will make the drink festive. Put out the cheese and pretzels to let your guests munch while you put together the burgers and hot dogs, and get out the salads.
