Strawberry Lemonade Fools Everyone
Homemade or not? Fool everyone with Strawberry Lemonade!
If you make it at home, it’s homemade, right? This downright sweet concoction is made with TWO INGREDIENTS. It’s ridiculously sweet and tart and very, very pretty.
What it’s not?
Homemade. I’m not going to try and tell you it tastes as good as the lemonade that you make from scratch. After all, the sheer elbow grease you put in to honest to goodness fresh squeezed lemonade has to be worth something. But I will tell you Strawberry Lemonade is easy, fast and cheap. Plus you can store the ingredients for as long as you need before using them, so you can be ready to make this anytime!
This is a perfect party drink – fill up a pretty pitcher (affiliate link) or two and let everyone serve themselves. Set it next to some fun mason jars (affiliate link) and a bowl of ice along with some bottled booze so everyone can help themselves. Strawberry Lemonade would make a tasty mixer with vodka, rum or even tequila.
There’s not much to this.
Melt some strawberry jelly, jam or preserves in water. I use a standard glass measuring cup (affiliate link) in the microwave, but you could use a small pot on the stove top too.
My frozen concentrated lemonade is in a 12 ounce can, which I think is standard, but if yours is different, dump the thawed lemonade concentrate in the pitcher and add the strawberry jelly to the container before filling it up the rest of the way with water. Microwave mixture for about a minute, then stir well.
Add the melted strawberry water to the pitcher, and add additional water according to the package directions. My concentrate called for 4 cups of water – so the strawberry water counted as one, and I added three more containers full. Stir well.
Refrigerate Strawberry Lemonade until it’s time to serve!
